After you choose a plan and confirm enrollment, coverage begins according to the terms of the selected product. Activation usually happens within 24 hours after enrollment or on the nearest available coverage start date. You can find the effective date in your account.
Official documents are mailed by the insurance company to the address provided by the applicant. In some cases, an electronic version is also sent to your email.
You can change your plan only if you have a qualifying life event or during open enrollment. Otherwise, changes are limited by the insurance company's terms.
Cancellation is possible under the terms of the selected plan. Timing and procedure depend on the insurance company and the coverage effective date.
